When I see a band name that I'm unfamiliar with twice in a day from respected sites (Tripwire and BV), I'm apt to take notice. That band is White Whale (great name) and they are signed to Merge (great label) and these two songs just may be...great. They're from Lawrence, KS and include members of Butterglory, The Get Up Kids, and Thee Higher Burning Fire. The White Whale's debut album, WWI, is out on July 25.
