Lilyness

I'm still trying to get my girlfriend hooked on Lily Allen so I can say that I established a foothold in her pop sensibilities, but it hasn't happened yet. I first heard about Lily on Thighs Wide Shut. I love pop music when it is done right, and Lily is doing it right. The blogosphere has been blowing up since she fired up her MySpace page last year. I love her ability to sing and rhyme over the melodies/samples. It's not rap, I don't really know what it is. It's just good. Real good.
