It was just last Friday, after Inmytree and I walked through a torrential downpour on the way to our cars after an unbelievable Radiohead experience at the Tower Theater, when Inmytree stated, 'There's always something about fuckin' Philly,' or something to that extent. MetroD has quite a history in the city of brotherly love. Gino's cheesesteaks have definitely been a part of this history - both on the South Side, and at Citizen's Bank Park. We lived off a staple diet of Gino's - and nothing else - for one of the most disgusting and awesome weekends of our lives. One that included both an Audioslave ("We playing in everybody's living rooms this tour to see who our true fucking fans are!") and a Mars Volta show at the Electric Factory. And a Phillies game, but we won't get into that. Touchy subject. Anyway, the most famous cheesesteak stand in the country made big headlines today, with it's new English only policy. There's always something about fuckin' Philly indeed.
