Top 100 Debut Albums of All Time

The new addition of Uncut Magazine (British) features a list of the top 100 debut albums of all time. Topping the list is Velvet Underground's The Velvet Underground & Nico. You can read more about the highlights at NME or buy the issue when it hits news stands. As you might expect with any British publication, the Arctic Monkeys did quite well at number 36. After a quick search on Google, I found one other top 100 list. InMyTree and I had a long back and forth email chain going a few months ago regarding our top 10s (always a fun and challenging musical exercise) and covered our favorite debut albums of our generation. Here is the result without any research whatsoever. The more I look at my list, the more I think it looks a little too generic but whatever...
