Baltimore's V Festival

InMyTree mentioned last week that RHCP will be headlining the V Festival. Billboard has released the final details for the 9/23 show at Pimlico Race Course (capacity is also listed at 60,000). Start saving up because tickets are $97.50. Depending on how long the set lists are, this could very well be worth it. The DC area hasn't seen a line-up like this since old school Lollapalooza. Check it:

Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Who, the Killers, the Flaming Lips, the Raconteurs, Scissor Sisters, Gnarls Barkley, Keane, Thievery Corporation, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, New Pornographers, Wolfmother, Drive-By Truckers, Kasabian, Brazilian Girls, Tiesto, John Digweed, Carl Cox, 2Many DJs, RJD2 and James Holden.

Tickets go on sale on July 22.

It's seems too darn expensive for me. I would be surprised if this event sells out. Don't they know gas prices are ridiculous now!

I'm in there like swimwear, if for no other reason than to hear Kasabian's frontman yell "We love you, Pimlico!" But, gas prices are ridiculous and I bet that beers will be (1) a flavor not of our choosing and (2) about the price of 2 gallons of premium.
