Apologies for the lull in the posts here at Metro D. As always, there is a lot going on. JK just got back from his honeymoon and I am busy at the dayjob. Expect a monster Tool post in regards to Saturday night's performance at the Verizon Center. Also expect some thoughts about the new Hold Steady album which should arrive today, as well as the new Beck album.
In other news, The Killers will start a three night stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. There seems to be a big push for the new Dane Cook (Shepherd, Cook and Simpson all star) movie in addition to pushing the release of Sam's Town. Hopefully, Dane's movie isn't as horrendous as his TV show, but given who stars opposite him, the expectations are very, very low. Here are the guests each night:
