Jenny Lewis & with The Watson Twins @ 9:30 Club, on NPR Tonight

From NPR.org:

"Singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis has a hauntingly soulful voice. Her latest CD, Rabbit Fur Coat is inspired by her lifelong love for folk, country and Southern gospel, with beautifully crafted story songs. Hear Lewis live online Sunday, Oct. 15 in a full concert from Washington, D.C.s 9:30 Club. The performance will webcast on NPR.org beginning at approximately 7:30 p.m. ET.

"Lewis got her start in the late '90s as the co-songwriter and singer for the Los Angeles art-pop band Rilo Kiley. She also appeared on recordings by Cursive and Postal Service. Originally from Las Vegas, Lewis sings with a voice critics have compared to Loretta Lynn, Petula Clark and Neko Case."
Metro D will have some friends in the audience. This show will probably peak about the same time I am getting in line for the TV On The Radio show that kicks off around 11:30. Hey, it's not like I have to be in at work at 4 AM or anything. Oh, wait.
