I feel like there is a track (or three) missing in here. Perhaps after "Blues" or before "Dirty Whirl". I don't know. I thought I saved the whole thing in my phone and I didn't. Fantastic show. They continue to get better with every performance. This was far and away the best I have seen of them. An almost correct setlist:
"Tonight"
"The Wrong Way"
"Dreams"
"Province"
"Wolf Like Me"
"Young Liars"
"Dirty Whirl"
"Blues From Down Here"
"Snakes and Martyrs"
"Dry Drunk Emperor"
"Satellite"
Encore
"A Method"
"Let the Devil In"
"Staring at the Sun"

When I saw them at the Trocadero in Philly 4/20/07 I know they didn't start with "Tonight". And I'm almost certain Playhouses was in the setlist somewhere.
"Tonight" was something special. I think Jaleel Bunton was on bass, David Sitek was on bongos. It was amazing. I've been dying to see both "Tonight" and "Playhouses", but I had to settle for just "Tonight". They seem to vary the setlist by three or four songs each night. More often than not they've had "Wrong Way" and "Dreams" early on, and the closer trio of "A Method", "Let the Devil In" and "Staring at the Sun" has become regular.
You left out "Dry Drunk Emperor" (which I think was right after Snakes and Martyrs).
Any thoughts on Noisettes?
Pretty close set list to the night before at 9:30. We got "Young Liars" as the opener, "I was a lover" where Young Liars was played, "blind" instead of "snakes and martyrs" and "Wash away the day" instead of "Dry Drunk Emperor".
FYI - nice review on the National show at the Black Cat! I'm excited they've graduated to the 9:30 club.
Yeah, I hate to say it, but I think the second night was better than the first. "Tonight" as an opener was unreal...mainly because I have been fiending on a live rendition of that track since the album dropped about a year ago. At any rate, they rock hard.
