I'm hanging out at work listening to my INVADERS album that was put out by Kemado Records. There is a track on here by a band named Witch. The song is called "Rip Van Winkle" and it is phenomenal. Right up my alley. Dark, prodding riffs, tight solos and an overall intense, stoner sound. You can stream two of their songs (including "Rip Van Winkle") at TeePeeRecords.com. The fact that they are from Brattleboro, VT, coupled with the fact that their drummer was in Dinosaur Jr. and two other members were in Feathers, makes them even more beast. You can listen to another streaming track on their MySpace page. They will be around the area with Dungen (another metal/stoner rock favorite):
