I am in no way, shape or form an expert on The Go-Betweens. In fact, I don't believe I am familiar with any of their work. That being said, I get the feeling that the music world lost a pioneer and monstrous talent with the passing of Grant McLennan, one with a heavy influence on some of today's great bands like Belle & Sebastian and Sleater-Kinney.
