Wolfmother & Pearl Jam

With the stateside portion of the Pearl Jam tour all wrapped up (outside of Hawaii in December), PJ fans are doing their best to grab some limited edition posters out of the Ten Club Message Pit and waiting for the next album, tour, TV appearance.....and then this....

From Wolfmother:

"The band recently completed some arena dates in Europe opening for Pearl Jam. In Spain Eddie Vedder joined them onstage to add vocals to their epic 'Minds Eye,' Mike McCready jammed on 'Woman.' In Belgium frontwolf, Andrew Stockdale, sang with the headliners on a memorable encore of The Who's 'Baba O'Riley' and Temple Of The Dog's 'Hunger Strike.' It was a trip."
Holy dogshit. I just had to step away from the computer, take a cold shower and listen to the new Kasabian album. I don't know what that means. But, here is the setlist from that night in Belgium. Wish I was there. You know I got nasty at the bootleg site and tracked this shit down. Not just for me. For you. "Hunger Strike," by the way, has only been played live 22 times, and more often than not, they play that shit overseas. Damn you, Vedder & Company. Damn you.

Set 1
"Interstellar Overdrive," "Corduroy," "Animal," "Hail, Hail," "World Wide Suicide," "Severed Hand," "Not For You (Modern Girl)," "In Hiding," "Unemployable," "Given To Fly," "Even Flow," "Present Tense," "Do The Evolution," "Big Wave," "Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town," "Jeremy," "Why Go"
Encore 1
"Soon Forget," "Black," "Better Man," "Crazy Mary," "Comatose," "Alive"
Encore 2
"Indifference," "Hunger Strike," "Baba O'Riley," "Yellow Ledbetter"

MP3: Pearl Jam - "Hunger Strike" (ft. Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother)
MP3: Pearl Jam - "Baba O'Riley" (ft. Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother)

And for our friends in the Windy City:
"Wolfmother fans in Chicago should try to make it to the Virgin Megastore (540 N. Michigan Avenue/312-645-9300) at 5pm on Monday 25th September as the band will be performing live and signing copies of their debut album."
"Yeah....Mr. Andrew from Wolfmother...." - Eddie

That's f-ing insane! My shorts started getting tight while I was reading this. I'm convinced that those crazy Aussie's are destined for greatness. I count myself lucky to have caught them tearing it up at Fletchers. That's one I'm going to definitely tell the grandkids.
