In addition to The National, Spank Rock, and The Wrens playing at Black Cat from the 26th to the 28th of October, the DAM! (The District's Awake! Music) Festival is going down. I have to do some research on some of these bands, but two of them speak for themselves: Cloud Cult and Bound Stems. No word on when/where they will be playing. We will be sure to keep you posted, and I can almost guarantee some attendance if it we can balance it with Black Cat's killer schedule for those days.

I'm pretty sure Bound Stems will be on the 28th.
And Cloud Cult is actually playing a show the following week (11/2), dubbed the "DAM! Fest Hangover Party"
