New Artist Spotlight: Van She

Just when you thought there wasn't any extra room for another new wave, 80's synth pop, post punk band, we get news of Van She. Under normal circumstances, I would probably ignore this band but two things work in their favor. 1) They're Australian which is always worth bonus points in my book and 2) they're on the Modular label, best known for their signing of Metro D favorites Wolfmother. Van She's s/t EP comes out this Tuesday. "Mission" is my favorite track on the EP (you can listen to it on their MySpace page) but "Kelly" is currently the song that has everyone moving on the dance floor.
