Checking with Tokyo Police Club

I stumbled over a hidden gem on iTunes this week. An exclusive Live from SoHo EP of my favorite new band of 2006, Tokyo Police Club. Courtesy of a gift card, I purchased an album for the first time ever on iTunes and I highly recommend it. It's a relative bargain at $5.99 for 9 songs; two of which are brand new and one other, "Box" is a b-side to "Nature of the Experiment." Alternatively, one of the new tunes, "Cut Cut Paste" is now streaming on Pitchfork. The other, "untitled" was also recorded during last month's Daytrotter session.
