Muse Opening for My Chemical Romance: Filed Under "I Just Threw Up In My Mouth"

I don't know if this is worse than Bloc Party opening for Panic! at the Disco. The dates follow the official word from Market Wire. I will keep my memories of Muse at Hammerstein Ballroom and opt out of this little mess at MPP.

A tour of Japan will follow in March leading up to the American dates. As reported previously, MUSE will also headline a pair of shows in California prior to the tour. Your post title made me laugh though my tears. I felt the same way about Muse opening for MCR, but, I still got tickets to the merriweather show. For me, some Muse is better than no Muse. I plan to leave after their set. I still hope that they'll headline their own show in New York City.

does seem odd that they're not doing NYC but in no way is this worse than BP opening for PATD. MCR, as worthless as they are in my mind, are a hell of a lot more talented than Panic. I agree with Honey, I'd settle for any Muse any time. It was an easy pass on those BP tickets (even though they didn't even play)

Just saw that they're both doing the Bamboozle festival at the Meadowlands.

It's silly to be critical about Muse opening for MCR. MCR is huge in the States. Muse is not. It's pretty smart of them to use MCR as a vector to be heard here. P.S. Muse won "best British band" and MCR won "best International band," so I guess more than a few people disagree with you on who's better.

I don't know why you egotistical fags are throwing a hissy fit on a really good band opening up for another really good band. what? you can't like both of the bands?? oh, of course not, that would make you look less of a person... right...
