Grandaddy

They have received a coveted 9.6 from Pitchfork (as well as an 8.5 and a respectable 8.1). Now all of that doesn't mean anything if you take Pitchfork's opinion with a grain of salt. But, here is the deal. Grandaddy demands respect, and we mention this with misty eyes, for this be the end of Grandaddy. JUST LIKE THE FAMBLY CAT (pictured above) is their last album. Alas, we bear good news...Jason Lytle, the creative force behind Grandaddy, is doing an in-store in NYC:
