Who cares?

Also, over $70 for a RHCP ticket (when you include the Ticketbastard fee)?? Come on now... you have to admit that's a little excessive.

who cares what you think is excessive?

Hmmm. Someone dialed the wrong number on their internet browsing. Take a look around. There are a lot of people that contribute to and interact with this blog that care.

I can understand the hesitation with a $70 ticket and yes, I find that excessive. With that in mind, few guitarists have made as big an impact on my life as John Frusciante. The reasons for this include but are not limited to Ataxia's Automatic Writing, John's Inside of Emptiness, RHCP's Live in Hyde Park, the way that "Don't Forget Me" morphs into something new every time I hear it played live, the solo in "Wet Sand," and the way that magic unfolds at John's fingertips.

It is easy to dismiss RHCP. My issues with them focus on the sub-par frontman in Kiedis who feels the need to crack open an Atlas in order to find a state that rhymes with "hippie." I understand others are annoyed with the "mainstream," "commercial" and "arena rock" portion of their presence. So be it. I'm not one to shy away from a band because of its success.

For me, seeing John play live is a cathartic, life affirming experience that I can't quite put into words. So, yeah $70 is excessive. But, I am pretty sure I would be paying in blood if that is what it took. Call me crazy, call me sick, just don't call me anonymous.

Don't get me started on The Mars Volta... L'Via, L'Viaquez, L'Stinko!

$12.75 Ticketbastard fee - what a joke.

I shaved my head this morning, because John did. Had it not been for Metro Distortion, I never would have known about the update or considered my transformation. Thank you, I care, and keep up the great stuff!

i sent a poorly worded complaint to ticketmaster this morning, because anonymous put one on this post. Had it not been for anonymous, i would have never known what it is like to not have my own opinion or pontificated endlessly of the mundane. thank you, for telling me what to think, and keeping me uneducated about things i try to speak profoundly upon!

Man, I wish that was me. L'Via, L'Viaquez, L'Stinko... that is absolutely priceless!

And people are shaving their heads because of your posts. This is becoming the Metro D cult... kind of like the cult that Rerun from "What's Happening" briefly joined.
