Best picture nod for June is outrageous. Atonement is the most overrated hype machine I've ever witnessed and I haven't even read this whole thing. Oscars always make my blood boil. Cronenberg was fucking robbed. Eastern Promises in general - robbed. Now I'm reading the whole thing. I almost thought they missed Casey Affleck but they got him. What can I say? They fucking love hype. Juno and Atonement had shitloads of hype.

I had to add the Cinematography category, because the man, the myth, the legend - Roger Deakins - has a great shot of beating himself.
