One of my favorites, Wilco, is testing out some new material on the road. Their live album, Kicking Television, was a nice teaser but I'm ready for the follow-up to A Ghost is Born. Post a comment if you've heard any of the new stuff.

Wilco have a number of new tunes ready for their as yet untitled upcomer. Some of those are, "Remember The Mountain Bed", "When The Roses Bloom Again", "Walken", and "Is That The Thanks I Get?". All of these are great--my personal favorite being the first--and can be found online, both in acoustic and band variants (most notably from via chicago torrents). Now I'm not too familiar with their Woody Guthrie catalouge and/or just live jems they've kicked around for years, so these may be covers, but other new ones may possibly be: "Dash 7", "Please Tell My Brother", "New Madrid", "Blasting Fonda", "Hoodoo Voodoo", "Henry and the H-Bombs", and "I Can't Keep From Talking".
Unfortunatey, most of those are oldies. I'm not familiar with "Henry...", but the others are from older albums (AM, Golden Smog's weird tales, or the Woody Guthrie stuff).
Remember the Mountain Bed and When will the roses bloom again? are both from the Woody Guthrie session.
I heard Walken and "Thanks" recently. Both are pretty cool, but a little pop-oriented for my tastes. I really like the weider territory they've been getting into.
That being said, I can't stop listening to the new songs...
