Alice In Chains Comeback Tour; Cities

What all old school AIC fans, including myself, feared the most: they've brought someone on to replace Layne Staley for an upcoming tour and, apparently, an upcoming album. Brutal. Speaking of AIC, I was just thinking of them this morning as I was listening to a song by Cities. Anyone else think so? I've heard them compared to Muse but I think that's a stretch.

Layne Staley had one of the all time great rock voices. Another tragic talent.

Did any of you feel like you got punched in the gut when you heard they were doing all this without Layne? AIC and that whole scene were a huge part of my 20's and it just doesn't seem right without Layne. RIP Layne - we miss you like crazy!

agreed. it's just not right and it seems to me like it's just a way to make some extra $. not happy about it.
