Here are a couple new full album streams worthy of attention.
AOL has Klaxons' Myths of the Near Future. Ignore all that bullshit about the term "new rave." This is actually a really great rock album. It's 10 bucks at Insound and as an added bonus, they're shipping the Magick and Golden Skans import CD singles along with it. It comes out tomorrow.
NME has Maximo Park's Our Earthly Pleasures. It was a tall order but it doesn't quite stand up to their debut. The album drops off a bit during the bottom third of the album but overall, it's a very solid effort from a band that I think is very underrated here in the States. The album is out next Monday in the UK and May 8 in the US. No pre-sale information yet.

One of my favorites, Maxïmo Park, will be make the trek over to North America this summer. Dates, as reported by Pitchfork, are below. I like how his voice breaks during the chorus."

Checking in with Maxïmo Park
Maxïmo Park's Our Earthly Pleasures is THE album that I'm looking forward to the most at the moment. "Our Velocity" is a beast of a first single and I'm keeping close tabs on any upcoming shows (they are an excellent live band). Due in the States on 4/2, the band has begun the requisite interview process and there are a couple decent ones out there right now.

Maxïmo Park New Album Details and Tracklisting
Maxïmo Park tend to get lost in the onslaught that is the British music scene. It's probably because they're not claiming to take over the world or recording the greatest album of all-time. I like that they're humble. I also think that their debut A Certain Trigger is second in quality only to Bloc Party's Silent Alarm since this craze begain in '04. Hell, even Pitchfork agrees.
From their Web site: Our Earthly Pleasures will be released on 2nd April 2006 (May 1 in the U.S.) on Warp Records. The album will be preceded by the single "Our Velocity" in March (19th), and the formats will include exclusive b-sides. More information on this soon.
