While I'm a little pissed Dave let go of his strikebeard (I'm still standing, Dave!), I'm pretty excited about this news.

"On Thursday, January 17th, The Mars Volta will make their late night television debut when they take the stage at Ed Sullivan Studios as the musical guest on Late Night with David Letterman.
