Not reported on BlocParty.com, Bloc Party's MySpace page or even BlocParty.net, but reported at Ticketbastard of all places. This wouldn't be that surprising (venues sometimes announce dates before bands announce them) except for the fact that these tickets go on sale tomorrow morning. Part of me wonders why I am announcing this, especially after the feeding frenzy Arcade Fire initiated this morning. One can only hope that this is the beginning of an Amerian leg in support of A Weekend In The City. And that Metric will do the opening honors (as they are in 9 venues across England). Funny how this all ties together today.
United Palace Theatre (held 3500 when it was built, if it had a more informative website I could tell you how many people it holds now) info can be found here. They, also, are not reporting Bloc Party's date.
