I've been bouncing around the Interwebs trying to figure out who is playing in this band these days. I came across the name Ginger Reyes, aka Ginger Sling. She was (is) the bassist for the Halo Friendlies. They're pop-punk and are on hiatus for respective solo endeavors. Ginger Sling's MySpace page said "yes, it's true" which I assume means "yes, I am the bassist for The Smashing Pumpkins". Both her and the Halo Friendlies respective MySpace pages had a band called the Scouts of St. Sebastian on their friends list. I am really digging one of their songs, called "The Order of Things". A little bit Asobi Seksu, a little bit Silversun Pickups...female vocal, catchy, worth a look.

Thanks for the Scouts of St.Sebastian post. Order of Things is the best of the bunch!
