Happy New Year; Songs of the Decade

Happy new year from the gang at Metro D. Things have been understandably slow going on the music side of things but I'm definitely looking forward to another great year of music. Hit up Metacritic to get a sense of what we have to look forward to in '07.

I took advantage of a few slow moments over the holidays to compile a list of my favorite 50 songs of the decade - or at least those that currently existed on my iPod. I didn't include any hip hop and listed no more than 3 songs from one band. It's a work in progress but I'm pretty happy with the results.

    Good choices, I like that you have Untitled from Interpol. One of my favorites even though it is so simple.
